Cross Groover Section: (1) Spindle with 7.5 HP-3,600 RPM motor, 51î max. cross cut capacity, unlimited length capacity; automatic head traverse of cutter carriage through driven ball screw with linear rail & bearings via hydraulic unit, head up & down movement via pneumatic cylinder on linear rail & bearings, depth fine adjustment with special threaded adjustable unit, material hold down via (2) independent pneumatic hold down bars, cutter guards, limit switch, 3í long air-operated support fence, 2-piece manual stop, emergency safety line across the cutting length of the machine and precision roller conveyor in-feed & out-feed tables. Linear Groover Section: Arranged at 90 degree angle to the cross groover, connected through the same heavy-duty overhead beam, (2) Spindles with 10 HP-3,600 RPM motor, First grooving head is mounted in front of the precision machined overhead beam of 10" x 10" x 1/2" thick, heat-treated steel, second head is mounted in the back of the beam, head height positioning pneumatically controlled via solenoid valve allow for rapid vertical head positioning when using (2) different cutter profiles. Board width from 6" min. to no max. width restriction, min. board length approx. 20", approx. 14" or 16"î throat depth (max. distance of center of groove cut away from fence with cutterhead at end of spindle). 6' Diameter solid aluminum reference roller in cutting area, extended frame to accommodate 12' long (solid surface) material, head side movement on linear rail & bearings via DC motor with (2) speed settings and adjustable speed within each speed setting, head depth adjustment on linear rail & bearings, manual fine tuning for initial set-up via ACME screw with dial indicator gauge (inch or metric scale) with ì0î backlash, pneumatic lock of head positioning, double width feeder belt moves work piece on high-precision, precision steel roller conveyor table, raising & lowering of feeder mechanism for optimum friction via DC motor and dial indicator readout scale, pneumatic belt tension for feeder belt for continuous optimal traction, automatic pneumatic lock of feeder height position. Complete with: Fixed fence, cleaning brush, visual tape end indicator,cutter guard and emergency shut-off line along the entire machine bed length, automatic dust switch gate for optimal dust exhaust, pneumatically activated automatic tape applicator with 14" tape diameter capacity, automatic side movement of tape applicator to automatically align with the cutter head in operation and all controls, Lexan safety infeed hub.
