Polisher Model SP-I 1800 is a gantry style single head polisher w/ PLC control. The 'Y' axis is 1800mm(72" Nom.) and the 'Z' appears to be around 10". The 6 brick head measures approx. 19" dia. which I believe the mfr calls his #31 Silver Tornado. C.O.M.E.S. Italian head--top of the line. Close to $20K worth of tooling for the head. Much of which is brand-new, never used. The spindle motor size is 20 HP. Mitsubishi controller. Cast-iron bridge. Head serial number is #7011062002 and the O & M manual dates it 21/03/2005. We have the track for the runway measuring (approx.) 36' in length. This machine only ran for two years of its ten year expected life-span. Elec. components are all acceptable to Canadian SPE-1000 special electrical inspection, which is a field acceptance for non CSA machines. This standard meets or exceeds UL in the US. As an aside, the components are the likes of Telemecanique or better. Canada does NOT accept non brand electrical components NOR do we recognize "CE" from Europe.
