Pods are adjustable and can be placed anywhere on the table as long as suction can be maintained. Pods are designed with top and bottom vacuum suction to allow for accurate positioning and for the work piece to be held securely and without movement. Machining center has water run-off troughs on all (4) sides. Mounted on the backside is the central vacuum hook-up for the pod bases, pod cups, locating stops and support pods. Both the gantry, machining spindle and tool changer bars are mounted on precision lineal ways.
