Pods are adjustable and can be placed anywhere on the table as long as suction can be maintained. Pods are designed with top and bottom vacuum suction to allow for accurate positioning and for the work piece to be held securely and without movement. The vacuum system has been upgraded with a wet vacuum system mfg by Sterling Fluid Systems (5 hp, 3 ph) Designed with a closed water recovery system and recirculation tank. This system is superior to a dry vacuum system in that it holds the vacuum pods on the worktable better then a dry system. Machining center has water run-off troughs on all (4) sides. Mounted on the backside is the central vacuum hook-up for the pod bases, pod cups, locating stops and support pods. Both the gantry, machining spindle and tool changer bars are mounted on precision lineal ways. Free-standing control and electrical cabinet that houses the GE Fanuc Series 210i-MB controller and keyboard, soft touch control screen and push button control switches for the various functions.
